Working group 2: Tissue integration
Workgroup 2 (WG-2) on “tissue integration” is managed by Prof. Stiesch (SP-4, co-spokesperson) and deals with the modification of implant surfaces with regard to an optimized healing into the tissue as well as their biological evaluation with regard to compatibility and attachment of tissue cells or bacteria in vitro.
