Working group 2: Surface functionalization and biological properties
Working Group 2 (WG-2) on “Surface Functionalization and Biological Properties” is led by Dr. Andreeva (SP-2) and Prof. Stiesch (SP-4, co-spokesperson) and focuses on the modification and functionalization of implant surfaces to optimize tissue healing, their biological evaluation, and degradation kinetics, taking into account the 3R principle (in vitro – in ovo – ex vivo – in vivo).
